Sloane Square

Fresh, loose and full of movement, Sloane Square is our take on a beautifully relaxed English garden arrangement — abundant, slightly wild and designed to look as though the flowers have naturally fallen together rather than been overly arranged.

Soft whites and creams are mixed with touches of warm yellow and fresh green, using a seasonal combination of garden roses, peonies when available, delicate spray flowers and airy meadow-style foliage. Everything is arranged by hand into a simple stone-effect pot, so it arrives completely finished and ready to place straight onto a table.

I particularly love the contrast in this arrangement. There are some beautiful, generous flowers in there, but they’re broken up with much smaller, more delicate stems. It gives the whole thing a much lighter and more natural feel.

As with much of our work, we don’t make these to an exact recipe. Flowers change throughout the year and that’s part of what makes them interesting. We’ll keep the overall white, yellow and green palette and the loose garden style shown here, while choosing the best seasonal flowers available on the day.
